  • Completed 2-year D.El.Ed (PTC) or 4-year B.El.Ed or 2-year Diploma in Special Education

• Exam Qualification:

  • Must have passed TET-1 (Teacher Eligibility Test - Paper 1)

  • 18 to 33 years (General category)

  • Age relaxation:

    • 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Women candidates

    • 10 years for PwD candidates

Classes 6 to 8 (Upper Primary Section)

1. Maths & Science Teachers

• Educational Qualification:

  • Graduation in B.Sc./B.E./B.Tech./B.Pharm

  • With 2-year D.El.Ed or B.Ed or 4-year B.El.Ed or B.Sc.Ed

• Exam Qualification:

  • Must have passed TET-2 (Paper 2 for Maths/Science)

2. Language Teachers (Gujarati, Hindi, Sanskrit)

• Educational Qualification:

  • Graduation in BA/BRS/B.A.S.S. with the respective language

  • With 2-year D.El.Ed or B.Ed or 4-year B.A.Ed

• Exam Qualification:

  • Must have passed TET-2 (Language Subjects)

3. Social Science Teachers

• Educational Qualification:

  • Graduation in BA/BRS/B.A.S.S. with subjects like History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Sociology, Psychology, Indian Culture, Home Science

  • With D.El.Ed/B.Ed/4-year B.Ed degrees

• Exam Qualification:

  • Must have passed TET-2 (Social Science)

Additional Requirements

• All teaching qualifications must be from NCTE/RCI recognized institutions.

• TET qualification must be valid as of the application date.

• Candidates applying under reserved categories must provide valid caste/income/disability certificates.
